Oana Pelea

DPhil Student

I am a third year DPhil student at the EPSRC & BBSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Synthetic Biology. After carrying out my first year of doctoral training, I decided to centre my research around engineering synthetic circuits for research and therapeutic applications using CRISPR-based sensors and extracellular vesicles. My DPhil is a joint project between Wood, Fulga and Sauka-Spengler research groups, being sponsored in part by EvOX Therapeutics.
