Post Doctoral Scientist
I completed my Ph.D. program at University of New South Wales, Australia in transcription factor biology under the mentorship of Professor Merlin Crossley in 2016, where I studied the design of artificial DNA binding factors and investigated how transcription factors find their targets in vivo. I joined Matthew’s group in 2017 as a postdoctoral research scientist in muscle biology. Here I am studying transcriptional regulators involved in muscle regeneration and in collaboration with Dr. Carlo Rinaldi, I am also investigating the role of an androgen receptor isoform in the pathogenesis of Spinal bulbar muscular atrophy (SBMA).
