Larissa Goli

DPhil Student

Postgraduate student, Keble College, Clarendon Scholar

I am a DPhil student at Keble College, Oxford, and am part of Prof. Matthew Wood’s Group

I currently work on spinal muscular atrophy, a highly debilitating neuromuscular monogenic disease that affects ca. 1:6,000-1:10,000 newborns. My DPhil project is supervised by Dr. Suzan Hammond and aims at identifying small molecules that could be used in combinatorial therapy with antisense oligonucleotides, using a genomic-based drug discovery approach.
