I joined Prof Matthew Wood's lab as a Research Assistant in 2018 and am working with Dr Suzan Hammond on testing peptide compounds for the treatment of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). I hold MSc degrees in Physics and Microbiology and MPhil degree in Medical biochemistry from Umeå University, Sweden. I have over 15 years research experience in neurodegenerative diseases, reproductive biology, and immunity.
